On March 9, 2023, the first Shanxi Provincial Intelligent Manufacturing Promotion Conference and the 2023 First Quarter Sub-league Meeting of the China Intelligent Manufacturing System Solution Supplier Alliance were grandly held in Shanxi Province. This conference, themed "Intelligent Transformation and Digital Transformation: Creating New Intelligent Manufacturing Industries," was hosted by the Shanxi Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, supported by the China Electronics Standardization Institute, Shanxi State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, Shanxi Provincial Energy Bureau, and Taiyuan University of Science and Technology, and jointly organized by the Shanxi Sub-league of the China Intelligent Manufacturing System Solution Supplier Alliance (hereinafter referred to as the "Shanxi Sub-league"), Shanxi Huayi Huilian Technology Co., Ltd., Taiyuan Forlerida Logistics Equipment Technology Co., Ltd., Shanxi High-Quality Transformation Development Research Institute, and Tsinghua Holdings Co., Ltd., with Shenzhen Huazhi Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Co., Ltd. assisting.

The conference was presided over by Yin Long, director of the Equipment Industry Office of the Shanxi Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology.

Tan Jianrong, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and member of the National Intelligent Manufacturing Expert Committee, delivered a keynote report on "Intelligent Manufacturing and Intelligent Equipment: Key Technologies and Development Trends." Academician Tan also provided on-site answers regarding the application prospects of multi-variety, large-batch customized design technology in discrete equipment manufacturing enterprises.

The conference commended enterprises that received honors related to intelligent manufacturing in Shanxi Province in 2022. Deputy Director Zhang Zhanxiang presented awards to the units that were selected as demonstration factories and excellent scenario enterprises of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in 2022. Director Yin Long and Director Che Qingtai presented awards to the provincial-level intelligent manufacturing benchmark projects and demonstration enterprises in 2022. Secretary-General Cheng Duofu and Director Che Qingtai presented awards to the excellent suppliers of intelligent manufacturing in Shanxi Province in 2022.

Zhang Zhanxiang, member of the Standing Committee and Deputy Director of the Shanxi Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, delivered a welcome address.
